Mecklenburg County Council's Council Pinewood Derby Championship at the NASCAR Hall of Fame. Come be a part of the fun as judges judge derby cars throughout the day and we race to Victory Lane!

This year's event features a derby car show, fun with the Hall's mascot, Champ the Cheetah and a commemorative patch for all participating Scouts.

Check-in starts at 7:30 a.m. 

All cars must be weighed in by 8:30 a.m.

Friday, March 20th (overnight fee includes race registration) 

6:30pm      Arrive - Early check-in of cars

9:00pm      Movie Showing

11:00pm    Lights Out

Saturday, March 21st

7:30am        Breakfast for overnighters

7:30am        Check-in / Weigh-in

9:00am         Presentation of the Colors/Prayer

9:15am         Den Races Begin

10:00am       Outlaw Race begins
                    Vintage Race begins

10:30am        Council Championship Race
